Dr. Dunckel is a licensed psychologist in Texas. After earning a Bachelor’s degree from William Jessup University, where she double-majored in Counseling Psychology and Theology, she attended Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago where she received a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Early in her training, Dr. Dunckel focused on PTSD and was began taking courses in trauma-focused therapy training while serving Veterans and completed a practicum at the Houston VA and an internship at Valley Coastal Bend VA in Harlingen, Texas.

Brenda graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies. Having lived in the area for over 15 years, she considers it home. A proud mother of two, she has a deep love for health, fitness, and helping others whenever possible.
She has had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Dunckel for many years and is passionate about supporting the meaningful work they do together. She strives to bring warmth, care, and dedication to everything she does—both in and outside of the office.

Amber Claussen
Amber Claussen is a Doctoral student in the University of Houston – Clear Lake (UHCL) Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) program. Amber completed her Bachelor of Science (psychology) and Psychology master’s degree at UHCL and is currently in her second clinical practicum under supervision of Dr. Gina Dunckel.
Randee Schmitt
Randee is a doctoral student in the Health Service Psychology Doctor of Psychology program at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University-San Antonio, and her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University.
Josh Hendrix
Joshua Hendrix. He has 15 years of experience as a firefighter/paramedic. A passion for helping others, he now assists firefighters, law enforcement, and EMS providers with neurotherapy so they can sleep, think straight, and go home to their families. Dad of three amazing kids. He is a current Kinesiology student at UHCL.
